Top commander warns of disunity as a reason behind Muslim world crisis
Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, lauded the great capacities in the Islamic countries across the globe, in his speech on the second day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference and warned of disunity as the root cause of crisis in the world of Islam.

Top commander made the comments on the second day of the online event on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters" to slam the inaccurate policy followed by some Muslim states which has challenged the world of Islam with serious crises, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The military elite referred to Islamic teachings on compassion with those in crisis and stressed necessity of mobilization of all Muslims to help their Muslim brothers in other Islamic countries.
He referred to the economic damages inflicted by the new coronavirus outbreak and also the ways Islamic countries can take measures in line with activating the great potentialities to fight the pandemic.
Top commander also warned of the Islamophobic campaigns during the past decades which aim Islam and Muslims across the globe and said," Enemies are in ambush to misrepresent Islam as an inefficient and Muslim incapable and that summons endeavor of all Islamic countries to defend the holy religion against enemies.
Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi proposed Muslim scholars in his speech made proposals in line with Islamic cooperation to fight the new coronavirus:
1- Cooperation of Muslim scholars to explain the Islamic teachings on importance of helping each other and healing of other people.
2- Exchange of knowledge and experiences on containing and management of the coronavirus circumstances among Muslim countries by establishment of a common data center.
3- Launching an international Islamic fund to help needy Muslims
4- Launching international institute for collection and distribution of donations for people in Islamic countries
5-Expansion of technical aids by rescue institution and the Red Crescent in Islamic countries within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) or a new institution
The commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army made the proposals in a webinar held on the second day of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters."
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 34th Islamic Unity Conference in more than 20 online meeting of Muslim elites, religious leaders and intellectuals from across the globe due to the new coronavirus outbreak.
