A conference on the Quran interpretation method of Allameh Tabatabaee in al-Mizan Quran Exegesis is planned to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
A conference on the Quran interpretation method of Allameh Tabatabaee in al-Mizan Quran Exegesis is planned to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The decision to hold the event was made in a meeting of Iranian cultural attaché in Indonesia and deputy chancellor of Jakarta Quranic Sciences University, the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) reported.

In the meeting, Hojatollah Ebrahimian and Darvish Houd discussed ways for mutual cooperation and agreed to jointly organize the Quranic conference.

It was decided that a preliminary conference be held on the topic in the holy month of Ramadan (June 18- July 17).

Elsewhere in the meeting, Ebrahimian underlined the potentials for Iran and Indonesia to share their experiences in Quranic fields.

Darvish Houd, for his part, said the Jakarta Quranic Sciences University is willing to expand cooperation with the Iranian cultural center in Quranic fields.

Al-Mizan fi Tafsir al- Quran is the name of a great Quranic exegesis composed in Arabic by the prominent Iranian scholar Allameh Tabatabaee.

Al-Mizan is known as one of the most celebrated and comprehensive Quranic exegeses.
