Hujjat al-Islam Vahid Ahmadi has stated the Islamic Republic has fulfilled its obligations added that the Western powers must also fulfill their obligations.

Hujjat al-Islam Vahid Ahmadi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, spoke to Rasa News Agency’s parliamentary correspondent and stated that specifying time for negotiations is not important.
“Reaching a good and satisfactory agreement is more important than extending the negotiation and setting a deadline for negotiations,” he said, referring to Iran’s ongoing negotiations with P5+1 group of countries over its disputed nuclear program.
He continued saying that the United States should specify if the purpose of they’re having extending the negotiations is in order to reach a satisfactory agreement or is it to prolonging the length of the negotiations in order that they do not have to fulfill their obligations. “Today, the Islamic Republic has fulfilled its obligations and today the West must fulfill their obligations and the sanctions must be removed after the negotiations are renewed,” he said.
Hujjat al-Islam Ahmadi said that a nuclear deal could be good and satisfactory for Iran, and could preserve Iran’s national interests. “Unfortunately, the Americans are always seeking to provoke pseudo-wars in an attempt to acquire additional concessions from the negotiations,” he explained.
The member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission added that the Americans seek to divide work in their own country and create conflicts between Congress and the Obama administration over the nuclear negotiations. The US only seeks more concessions from Iran and has brought up excessive demands during the nuclear negotiations, reported Rasa.
The cleric said that the country’s nuclear negotiators must protect the Iranian nation’s nuclear achievements and defend the rights of the Iranian people and not cross the red lines nor allow the enemies to cross them.
“Access to military facilities and interviewing nuclear scientists are part of the red lines considered by the Iranian government and the failure to comply with these red lines will harm national security,” he said.
In another part of the interview, Hujjat al-Islam Ahmadi stated that every protocol of the final agreement must be in accordance with the constitution and must be approved by the Executive Council, saying: “Those who proclaim that most countries have adopted and implemented additional protocols, should know that most of these countries have no activities in the nuclear field, and those countries who have nuclear programs would never give anyone access to their military and nuclear facilities.”
