Lebanon political face highlights Shia, Sunni convergence

Hasan Fazlollah, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc called for promoting unity between Muslims and Christians from one side and enhancing rapprochement among Muslims from different Islamic sects and denominations, especially Shiite and Sunni, from the other side, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Fazlollah counted rapprochement and unity among the foregoing stratums as a roadmap for putting end to the current challenges the World beset by and braving the standing predicaments.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the member of the Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc urged Lebanon officals to collaborate with people from different sects and denominations in electing a
successor to Sleiman.

(Needless to say, Lebanon has been without a leader since May 2014, when former President Michel Sleiman left office at the end of his tenure. On June 3, Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri postponed a presidential election vote to June 24 due to lack of quorum. The power vacuum in Lebanon comes as the Arab country is battling Takfiri and terrorist groups coming from Syria.)

Elsewhere in his remarks, the political face sternly warned Lebanese authorities of the suspension of gubernatorial organizations urging all the involved sides to work in tandem for working out a political solution.

Lebanon parliament member leveled criticism at some inside groups for fueling sedition stressing,
"Western backed March 14th alliance will join hands with no party, not seeking to take part in a move favoring the country."

Along with Hasan Fazlollah, many a political commentator in Muslim countries including Lebanon urged Muslims
Shia and Sunnis not be parted and do their best to be united. They nudged Muslims to shun tangling with each other.

In this regard, Islamic scholars also play decisive role in restraining Muslims unity from dispersion. They refrain Muslim from different sects from banal argument over minor issues or quibbling over minute differences. In their lines, Muslims can be well on the way to progress and gain momentum through unity, overtaking the enemeis in various areas as a result.
