'Iran N-Deal not against regional States'

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for African and Middle Eastern Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian underlined that a possible final agreement with six world powers over Tehran's peaceful nuclear energy program would not be meant to undermine regional states.
"Iran's negotiations with the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) is limited only to the nuclear issue but Iran's talks and cooperation with neighbors are permanent and include all common and significant regional issues," Amir Abdollahian said on Sunday.

"Iran's (likely) nuclear agreement with the six countries will not be against regional countries" he said, adding, "We resolve regional issues inside the region and through political dialogue."

The Iranian diplomat further hailed Tehran's relations with regional and neighboring countries as "amicable and based on mutual trust and good neighborliness", saying that Iran is seriously pursuing a "policy of brotherly cooperation" with neighboring countries in all spheres.

The remarks came as only one day is left before the self-imposed June 30 deadline in negotiations over Iran's nuclear case expires.

Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) are negotiating to clinch a lasting agreement on Tehran's peaceful nuclear program.

On April 2, the two sides reached a framework nuclear agreement in Lausanne, Switzerland, that provides outlines of the final deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The parties have set end of June as the deadline for clinching the long-awaited deal.
