Hails Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

Head of the Russian Board of Muftis, Sheikh Rawi Eineddine praised the resistance role in maintaining stability in Lebanon, also hailed Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for being a leader who recognizes the importance of achieving the Lebanese people's goals.
 
Sheikh Eineddine met Hezbollah's parliamentary delegation to Russia, where both sides tackled the latest developments in the Arab and Islamic world.
Moreover, Hizbullah and Russian sides confirmed the importance of unity between Muslims against what it is plotted against them, with reference to foreign attempts to interfere in their internal affairs.
 
On another hand, The delegation met with Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, Middle East and North Africa Department Director Sergei Vershinin, and Lebanon and Syria office director Vladimir Banov.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the current regional situation, tackling the Arab World developments, the situation in Lebanon and the Palestinian cause in particular.

Furthermore, they expressed their visions regarding the said developments. Moreover, the Russian officials expressed curiosity to understand Hizbullah's stance regarding the regional and Lebanese developments.

The  delegation stressed the importance of cooperation in maintaining stability in regional countries, and in preventing foreign interferences that contradict the interests of the nations and their expectations.
During a press conference on the sidelines of the meeting, MP Raad described the meeting as "excellent", affirming that a frank, fruitful and constructive discussion took place with several mutual visions.

"We have raised some questions and offered comments, and we will continue consultations until we achieve what we aspire of mutual interests for both, our countries and the region", MP Raad read in his statement.
He noted that "this first visit paved the way for cooperation and following up discussions with the Russian officials". 

In a Related context, In an interview with Russia Today, Head of delegation MP Mohammad Raad expressed gratitude to the Russian role in reconstructing Lebanon post the "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon in July 2006.

The source also quoted Raad as thanking Russia's stance in the Security Council, as it stood against imposing new sanctions on Syria, by that revealing its opposition and resistance to the "Israeli" aggressions.

Also, MP Raad said that Moscow drew borders and limits to all those who aim at prevailing and taking control of the region, by that meaning powers of hegemony.
