According to the United Nations World Food Programme, nine out of 10 children in Gaza suffer from acute malnutrition.

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza, particularly in the north, has been exacerbated by the closure of the Rafah and Karm Abu Salem border crossings, as residents have depleted their remaining food supplies amid a shortage of aid.
It is worth noting that more than 37 children have died during the ongoing Israeli aggression due to starvation in several hospitals in Gaza, especially in Kamal Adwan Hospital, where around 30 children have perished.
The healthcare system in Gaza remains a target of the Israeli attacks, while medical teams strive to resume their services and provide minimal healthcare to residents in the northern half of the enclave.
