Global Reactions Show Successful Foreign Policy of Late President Raisi

"Various delegations attended Iranian embassies and consulates, some countries announced public mourning, and some international meetings were held with Observing one-minute silence to show respect to the Martyrs of Service; All this shows that we were successful in constructive foreign relations with different geographical areas."

On 19 May 2024, Late President Raisi, Late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and several other officials were killed when President Raisi's helicopter crashed near the village of Uzi in East Azerbaijan province.
President Rais and his colleagues were returning from the opening ceremony of an Iranian-Azerbaijani join dam project when their helicopter crashed.
They were then named the Martyrs of Service.
Nations Should Follow Up To End War In Gaza
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs referred to the International Court of Justice's ruling on the necessity to stop the crimes in Rafah and stated that nations should regularly urge their governments to take action to end the war in Gaza.
Regarding the recent Israeli attacks in Rafah over the past 48 hours, Nasser Kanani in response to an Iran Press reporter said: "The international community bears a legal and moral responsibility for the atrocities committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza."
He stated that the Zionist regime is accused of violating international conventions, and the International Court of Justice demands an immediate end to the military operations of the regime against the residents of Rafah.
There are all the necessary legal and international grounds to end the war, but it is obvious that what has happened in these months is the result of the support of a certain number of countries, especially the United States, to the Zionist regime, Kanaani said highlighting that the US government, as the biggest supporter of the Zionist regime, yet does not consider itself responsible for the opinion of important international legal authorities.
However, nations must follow up on their requests to end the Gaza war from their governments repeatedly, he said.
