Nearly two dozen Palestinians killed in Israeli raid on Rafah

At least 20 Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli attack on Rafah at dawn on Tuesday as the regime conducted heavy attacks against the southern Gaza Strip city.

The media reported a very difficult night as Israeli regime deployed all types of weaponry in the eastern part of the city.

The Israeli military has taken over the Rafah crossing strategically cutting off the Gaza Strip from the region as the crossing was a point of entry for passengers and aid convoys since the beginning of the Israeli strikes on October 7.


At least 12 other people who have been killed in separate strikes on Rafah overnight, as the Israeli military intensifies its bombardment of the city in southern Gaza.

Three others were also killed in an Israeli warplanes’ attack on a house in west of Rafah.

Israel has announced the start of its military operation against Rafah in defiance of the warnings by the international humanitarian organizations that an attack on Rafah would be catastrophic for the estimated 1.4 million people sheltering there.
 
The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that total number of Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes since the beginning of war on October 7 is close to 34,800. Over 78,200 others have also been injured.
