A delegation of Sunni scholars from Nepal have visited New Delhi World Book Fair hailing Iran’s pavilion at the international event which is underway in the Pragati Maidan.
 
The delegation of Sunni clerics including Zeinul Abedin Mohammad, liaison of the Leader’s bureau in India and Arif Amlawi, from Taqrib (proximity) bureau in New Dehi praised the books displayed by Iran, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Nepalese scholars particularly praised the Iranian books in new fields of science and religious educational books for children.

Iran Book and Literature House represents the Islamic Republic at the event, with more than 800 titles in various fields including Iranology, art, calligraphy, religion, Persian education, classic and contemporary literature, children and young adults, and Sacred Defense among others.

Attended by Iraj Elahi, the ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in India and Deputy Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran was opened at the New Delhi Book Fair on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Held for 50 years, the NDWBF has been is a major calendar event in the publishing world. The Fair is organized by National Book Trust, India (under the Ministry of Education, Government of India).
