Huj. Shahriari offers condolence over passing of Turkish MP Hasan Bitmez

The Secretary General of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has offered condolences over the passing of the member of Turkey’s Felicity Party, Hasan Bitmez.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari has issued separate messages addressing the Felicity Party and the bereaved family of MP Hasan Bitmez to express sympathy after the MP passed away due to heart attack, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric, in his letter addressing the leader of Felicity Party, Temel Karamollaoglu, said,” Late Hasan Bitmez was an advocate of unity and Islamic solidarity” lauding the late MP for his defense of the Palestinian nation to the last moment of his life.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari extended condolences to the Turkish nation, officials and the members of parliament.
 
In a separate message addressing the family of Turkish MP, the Iranian cleric hailed member of the general assembly of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for his efforts to promote solidarity among Muslims.
Hasan Bitmez was hospitalized due to a heart attack he suffered during a fiery speech against Israeli war on Gaza. The MP passed away two days after the incident.
 
In his final speech before heart attack, he blasted the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his AKP party for maintaining trade ties with Israeli regime amid its genocidal war against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
He called the AKP party and President Erdogan collaborates of Israeli regime and ended a 20-minute speech saying those complicit with Israel will not be able to escape the wrath of God.
