Lebanese cleric vows support for resistance, Palestinian nation

The director of Lebanon’s Association of Muslim Scholars hailed the endeavors by resistance front in Palestine and other Islamic countries vowing support for the oppressed nation.

Sheikh Ghazi Hunaina, speaking at the sixth webinar in a series of online meetings on operation al-Aqsa Flood, said the victory in this operation by the al-Qassam Brigades and other Palestinian resistance movements has transformed the region to relive the golden days of the Palestinian nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” The issue of Palestine is interwoven into the lives of Lebanese people since our childhood” and added,” We are a nation that do not ignore our rights, martyrs and prisoners and will never surrender.”
The senior scholar noted that the Lebanese people live with the issue of Palestine since birth and will not let the Palestinian nation to lose in front of the US-backed enemies.
The top Lebanese cleric hailed the Friday speech by the Secretary General of Hezbollah resistance movement, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah reiterating that the topple of Hamas and Gaza is impossible.
Sheikh Ghazi Hunanina once again voiced support for the Palestinian nation and the resistance groups with their military wings al-Qassam, al-Quds and al-Aqsa.
The sixth webinar on operation al-Aqsa Flood was held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended by experts and thinkers from across the globe to discuss the developments following the October 7 operation al-Aqsa Flood by Hamas resistance movement.
