According to the Palestinian media outlets, the new fatalities brought the total number of Palestinians killed by the regime's forces on Sunday to eight.

20-year-old Qatada Salama Ghunaimat (shown below) was killed after Israeli forces opened heavy fire at his vehicle when he was leaving the al-Arroub refugee camp north of the city of al-Khalil, also known as Hebron, in southern part of the West Bank, the official Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

Israeli forces then seized the victim's body and opened fire on a Red Crescent ambulance and its crew when they tried to reach him, leaving the Palestinian youth to bleed to death.

In northern West Bank, a convoy of more than 20 Israeli military vehicles raided the town of Zawata, west of the city of Nablus, triggering confrontations with the town's residents.

The regime's forces then fired tear gas canisters and live bullets at the residents, killing 29-year-old Jihad Saleh and 17-year-old Mohammad Abu Zer, Wafa news agency said in a separate report, citing the Palestinian Health Ministry. Two others were also wounded in the attack, one of them seriously.

Earlier on Sunday, five Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces, two of whom died in an airstrike on al-Ansar Mosque in the Jenin refugee camp.

Israel has ramped up its violent attacks in the West Bank since the Gaza Strip-based Palestinian resistance groups carried out a surprise attack against the regime, called Operation al-Aqsa Storm, by firing thousands of rockets at the occupied territories on October 7.

The attack, which was a legitimate response to recurrent acts of violence against Palestinians, touched off an incessant onslaught by the illegal entity on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 4,700 people, mostly civilians, while leaving more than 15,000 others injured.

The new fatalities also brought the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces across the West Bank since October 7 to 93.
