Iran’s major Islamic unity center will hold on Monday the first international conference on media and unity of Islamic ummah with the aim of boosting Islamic unity.

World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in collaboration with Society of Muslim world media activists will host the first Minaret International Conference on January 30 to discuss the ways for boosting the world of Islam based on media activities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The conference is scheduled to be participated by elites, thinkers and media activists from several Muslim and non-Muslim countries including Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Iraq, India, Australia and Malaysia.
The meeting is held with the aim of networking, promoting and convergence of the Muslim media on concept of Islamic unity.
The axis to be discussed in this meeting include unity of the Islamic Ummah, media truth and media literacy, the capacity of international media.
