Iran FM says focusing on developments in Syria, West Asia on agenda

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has said that developments in Syria in particular and West Asia, following the talks that were discussed with Syrian and Lebanese officials, are on the agenda of the negotiations in his trip to Türkiye.

The trip to Moscow is delayed a bit, the top diplomat noted.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs added: "In the end, it was decided to make the trip to Moscow with a little delay."
Amir-Abdollahian said: "In the trip to Ankara, the latest state of bilateral relations will be reviewed first, and Turkish President Erdogan officially invited Ayatollah Raisi to visit Türkiye, and the initial arrangements for this trip will be made at the highest level in Ankara."
The FM pointed out: "At the same time, due to the rapid developments in the Syrian region and West Asia, two days ago we held talks with Bashar Assad in Syria and in Lebanon with the high ranking officials of Lebanon, which will be on the agenda of the negotiations."
