UN condemns ISIL attack against Peshawar mosque

Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres has censured the attack against Shia mosque in Pakistan as "horrible" expressing sympathy with families of the victims in this incident.

UN Secretary General said those behind the attack should stand responsible for the Friday attack, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Daesh terrorist attack has announced on its propaganda site that one of its members had successfully carried out the attack claiming responsibility for the fatal attack which has left at least 250 people dead and injured.
 
The Friday attack on Shia mosque in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar has drawn much condemnation from across the world, with the United Nations' chief saying places of worship should be safe havens not targets of attacks.
 
The attack happened as worshipers had gathered in the Kucha Risaldar mosque in Peshawar’s old city area for congregational Friday prayers.
