The book published by Taha Publication is counted among series of Qur'anic studies meaning to take a new and critical look on the holy book of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

"Wit" in this sense does not translate to vain or superficial writing meant to draw laughter but an attractive view, as is the objective of artistic criticism, on holy Qur'an which delicately criticizes the inappropriate behaviors and brings pleasant smile to people.

The book is an endeavor to introduce the aspects of Qur'an which perfectly reveal the culture of holy Qur'an as the strategy of the book, in some verses, is to opt for witty wording, sometimes a little biting.

"Sacred Wit, Artistic-Critical Literature of Holy Qur'an" is in nine chapters among them: Narratology of Qur'an, Artistic Criticism of Qur'an and Qur'anic Caricatures.
