“Gen. Soleimani, hero saving Muslims from Daesh terrorists”, Huj. Shahriari

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought hailed the assassinated IRGC top commander, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, as the hero who saved Muslims from the grip of Daesh terrorists.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, senior cleric highlighted the role of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in fighting terrorism in the Middle East region in his comments at Islamic conference of Russia held virtually on Sunday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He noted that a number of American authorities and groups have also admitted the key role of General Soleimani in counter-terrorism campaign.
 
Senior cleric called the Islamic Republic as a victim of state terrorism and said,” Iran has recorded 17,400 victims of terror attacks one of the latest instances is the assassination of General Soleimani who was on an official visit to Iraq.
Early in the morning on January 3, 2020 top commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force together with Hashd al-Sha’bi deputy, Abu Mahdi Muhandes and a number of fellow warriors were assassinated during a missile attack launched by US helicopter near Baghdad Airport.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari also counted the challenges ahead of the Islamic countries warning of fake versions of Islam and deviate movements within the Islamic nation.
 
“To mastermind American-style Sunni and British-style Shia is meant to divide the Muslim nation and also for wasting the great capacities in Muslim world” said the secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
The scholar warned,” Enemies of Islam are struggling to undermine solidarity among Muslims since they are fully aware of unity among Islamic denominations and organizing the resistance front as well as its battle against Daesh and withdrawal of the US forces from the region.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari urged for efforts to define the commonalities of Islamic denominations as exceeding the differences.
 
He also called on all Muslims to stand vigilant on hostile plots to join hands and stand against plots in fraternal unity.
