The opening ceremony of 28th International Qur'an Competitions was held in the Grand Nile Tower in the capital Cairo on Saturday. Dr. Mohammad Mokhtar Juma, Awqaf Minister and Shawqi Allam, grand mufti of Egypt participated in the ceremony with tens of prominent Qur'an reciters from across the globe.
