Dar-al-Rahma Portico welcomes foreign tourists to Imam Reza shrine

Tourist and pilgrims are all welcome to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), eighth Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) but Dar al-Rahma Portico at this holy site is especially allocated its services to the non-Iranians arriving for pilgrimage or simply for visiting the holy site.

Launched in 1992, the Dar-al-Rahma Portico, began attending the foreign tourists under the management of the Islamic propagation deputy at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
With as many as 60 people serving at Dar-ul-Rahma, hundreds of foreign visitors arriving at the holy site daily receive the services.

 
 The services are provided round the clock for the tourists arriving from different countries.
 
Daily prayers, religious programs, international conferences and meetings, classes including Persian language classes are among the services at Dar-al-Rahma.

 
Special programs to welcome tourists include tour of the holy shrine, visiting Imam Reza Museum, performing eulogy, speeches and showing clips on the eighth Shia Imam.
 
 
Representatives from Razavi Hospital are also present to help the pilgrims visiting Mashhad on medical tours.
 

Nearly 50,000 pilgrims arrive from Iraq, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia among other countries.
