“Sheikh Zakzaky, role model of resistance for religious preachers”, cleric

The Custodian of Imam Reza shrine has called Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky a prominent role model for the religious preachers hailing the scholar for guiding the Shia community in Nigeria.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi, the custodian of Imam Reza (AS) shrine, made the remarks in a meeting with the senior Nigerian cleric in the Iranian city of Mashhad on Monday.
He lauded as “brilliant” the endeavors by Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaky in “guiding the African people to spirituality as well as the divine and human values.”
 
The Iranian cleric called the Nigerian spiritual leader a role model reiterating his motivation, struggle, fortitude and resistance to promote Islamic teachings in the African country.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Marvi also touched upon the developments unfolding in the besieged Gaza and condemned the humanitarian disaster in Gaza a crime against humanity heart-wrenching for any person regardless of nationality, ethnicity and faith.
 
He condemned the US and European countries supporting the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians.
