The Deputy for International Pilgrims Affairs highlighted the International Quds Day as a landmark for the world of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Mohammad Zolfaghari praised the late Imam Khomeini (RA) for paving the way for a durable and progressive civilization with this inspiration.

He added,” The historic naming of the last Friday of Ramadan as International Quds Day attracted visionary individuals from across the world every year.”

He noted that the move by the late founder of Islamic Revolution revived the issue of Palestine and set it a priority for Muslims right at a time that the issue of Quds was about to be forgotten.
The cleric hailed the Palestinian resistance fighters as valiant men who brought about the epic 7 October Al-Aqsa Flood Operation that shook the fake regime of Israel to its foundations.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Zolfaghari continued,” Although many have been martyred, their land, homes, hospitals have all been destructed, their honor, dignity and Islamic zeal have been immortalized.”

Deputy for International Pilgrims Affairs further stressed that Muslim youth would liberate holy Al-Quds and perform prayers in al-Aqsa Mosque which was the first Qibla (praying direction) of Muslims.
