The international conference on the issue of Palestine and liberation of al-Quds has been held in the Malaysian capital on Thursday with the aim of boosting solidarity in the world of Islam.

The international Quds entitled “Al-Aqsa Storm” was held in collaboration of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and a number of international organizations a day ahead of the International Quds Day, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in this conference stressed follow up of the practical measures in the interests of the Palestinian nation.
 
He said the conference is held as part of efforts to hold pro-Palestine conferences across the world of Islam to achieve further unity among Islamic countries.
 
A number of prominent scholars, NGOs, elites from across Asia attended the conference in the Malaysian capital to voice solidarity with the Palestinians amid ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the besieged Gaza Strip.
  
Azmi Abdul Hamid, the president of Malaysia Consultative Council of Islamic Organization (MAPIM) said scholars from more than 50 countries especially representatives from Iran, Yemen, Singapore, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand stress the objective of Palestine in this conference.
 
Also, Tian Chua Chang, secretariat of Solidarity Palestine in Malaysia deplored Israeli regime for violating all international conventions and its defiance of the global calls for an end to massacre of the Palestinian civilians in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
 
He stressed that the world should put an end to crimes the brutal regime has committed against the Gazans.
 
Syed Ibrahim Syed Noh, Malaysian MP emphasized necessity of further support for the displaced Palestinians in Gaza following the incessant crimes and genocidal war on Gaza and said,” This support has grown not only among Islamic countries but also among the western countries even some former supporters of the Israeli regime.”
 
He highlighted a shift in the international views on the Israel which has isolated the regime and vowed that the recent developments will eventually lead to liberation of the Palestinian lands.

 
The international “Al-Aqsa Storm” also hailed Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari and a number of other pro-Palestine activists for their endeavors in support of the Gazans and the issue of Palestine.
