Top cleric calls for international assistance for Palestinians under Israeli strikes
A senior Iranian scholar has called on the people and officials across the world of Islam to contribute for the Palestinians under Israeli onslaughts.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, speaking at the international webinar on “Palestine and Gaza” held by the Directorate of Religious Affairs in Turkey, called on the international organizations to stand by the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Gaza and the Palestinians in the besieged territories have been under unparalleled oppression since the occupation of their lands by Israeli regime.”
The cleric noted that the oppression in Gaza has reached its culmination to the point that every Palestinian from Gaza has urged the Muslims and Islamic nation for help.
Iranian top scholar referred to the financial aids as a way to contribute to the Palestinians under Israeli strikes.
He said,” Another way is that similar gatherings of the scholars call on the rulers in different countries to fulfill their responsibility towards the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari added,” A third proposal is to call on the international officials to stand by the Palestinians in order to put an end to massacre of the civilians and also sending humanitarian aids for them.”
He reiterated that aiding the Palestinians in Gaza Strip is a mission on all Muslims though religious scholars have more responsibility in this regard.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought said that the stances taken in this war will remain in history as history will recall all shameful stances.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari hailed the webinar held by Turkish organization stressing that the meeting is capable of fulfilling its mission to support the Palestinians in Gaza Strip and alleviate their pain.
