"Islamic Theology: A Textbook", book to bring Muslims, non-Muslims closer
The book "Islamic Theology: A Textbook", by Reza Bakhshayesh, is the latest translation by Iranian theology expert, Mohammadreza Peysepar that aims to provide the English-speaking readers with a brief review on Shia views and the teachings of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

According to the translator the book aims to address a shortage of Shia sources for the English-language readers and also Muslim and non-Muslim youths in the west.

Peysepar believes the availability of Islamic sources in English often depends on the efforts and investment made in translation of the sources from other languages.

His effort also means to directly introduce a Shia source to the English-speaking audiences rather than through non-Shia, non-Muslim references.

The book could contribute to a better understanding of the Shia view and also campaigns against Islamophobia which has particularly seen a rising trend in the English-speaking countries in recent years.

The latest book has been published by Iran’s Al Mustafa International Translation& Publication which together with other Islamic centers, naming International Deputy of Qom Seminary, are among centers concerned with translation of Shia literature.
