Top mufti of Russia says Muslims should stand by the Muslim nations who are oppressed and move towards a common objective.

Shaikh Ravil Ainuddin, in his address at the opening ceremony of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference, has called on the Muslim world to support the oppressed nations calling on the participants to renew their vows for solidarity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed the annual Islamic Unity Conference as a blessing that convenes Shia and Sunni Muslims from across the world together on the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
The Russian mufti called the Islamic nation as a body which is united despite diversity of groups and denominations and said,” All schools of thought and denominations should unite by heart and then move towards their common objective.”
 
He added,” This unity is not a domination or enslaving of the people but a unity towards interests of all Muslims.”
 
“To value the spiritual and traditional values common among all religions which have for centuries been part of the multinational country of Russia is our key mission”, he said and referred to commemoration of the 1,100th anniversary of Islam in Russia attended by President Vladimir Putin.
 
He said,” Hundreds of years of Iran-Russia neighborliness proves how to convene nations and denominations together.”
 
According to the senior scholar stands as the manifestation of religious teachings on unity, goodness and opposition with any form of oppression.
 
Shaikh Ainuddin Ravil made the comments in an address to the opening ceremony of the 37th International Islamic Unity Conference held on Sunday morning September 30th.
 
The 37th Islamic Unity Conference the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values” is underway in the capital Tehran in attendance of 230 of Shia and Sunni scholars, religious and political figures participating the annual event in person. More than 260 scholars and intellectuals also attended the attend the webinars to express their views on the theme of this conference.
 
 The conference is held on 28th September to 3rd concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
