Hujjat-ul-Islam Sayyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of late Imam Khomeini, in an address to the visiting participants of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference, said Islamic unity is formed in Muslim world and the next step is to discuss how to promote that towards its prefect form, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He called unity a bilateral path that does not need one of its two sides to be blended into the other one.
 
The cleric noted a reason that materialization of Islamic unity is delayed each side of a bond finds its benefits threatened and added,” Today, our unity necessitates mobilization of all sides and no individual, ethnicity or even nation should bar solidarity in the entire Muslim world.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Khomeini stressed,” All religious groups should warn against expansion of hostilities, ignorance and misunderstanding.”
 
He called dialogue of the scholars, prominent religious figures and scientists as an undeniable necessity.
 
More than 230 Iranian and international participants to the international conference and a number of officials attended the ceremony held at the mausoleum of the late founder of Islamic Revolution.
 
The 37th International Islamic Unity Conference with the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values” opened on Sunday morning.
 
More than 260 Shia and Sunni scholars from across the globe participated in the online meetings of event held on 28-30 September.
