An Afghan scholar has slammed the recurrent desecration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and holy Qur’an stressing that the blasphemous acts would add to the burden of Muslim scholars.

Maulavi Abdulraoof Tavana, Director of Martyr Tavana Cultural Center has called on the Muslim scholars to take a firm stance against the desecration of Islamic sanctities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said Islam should be set an axis based on which we should unite and stand against desecration of our sanctities.
 
He called for vigilance against the enemies of Islam and said,” Enemies intend to disintegrate the Islamic nation and turn it into smaller parts; therefore, we should stand vigil in the face of hostile forces.”
 
The founder of Fajr-e Bidari Radio Channel in Afghanistan hailed the rapprochement between Iran and Saudi Arabia and noted,” Officials in Islamic states should not stand where would benefit Israeli regime.”
 
Held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Muslim scholars and religious figures from across the globe exchanged views on the issues challenging the world of Islam in the 37th Islamic Unity Conference (IUC). Participants also discussed the theme of this meeting “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is the climax of the Islamic Unity Week that marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
