37th International Islamic Unity Conference kicks off

The 37th International Islamic Unity Conference with the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values” has officially kicked off in the Iranian capital Tehran.

More than 400 Iranian and foreign intellectuals and religious figures from across the world of Islam have attended the online and in-person sections of the 37th edition of the conference organized by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raeisi will deliver speech at the opening ceremony of the conference held on Sunday morning.
 
Also, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will also address the participants on the most important issues in the world of Islam.
 
The online section of the conference began on Thursday September 28 and the event will continue to October 3rd.
