A senior Indian scholar has stressed the mission of every Muslim to contribute to Islamic unity hailing the endeavor by Indian Muslims in this line.

Maulana Mohammad Asghar Mesbahi, Prayer Leader of Ranchi, speaking at the eighth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference called the religion of Islam as a universal message for all people and highlighted importance of solidarity in view of the holy religion, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He alluded to verses from holy Qur’an necessitating solidarity in the Islamic ummah and said,” All Muslims from any generation, color and profession should live together in unity.”
 
He underlined the efforts of Shia and Sunni scholars of India to create unity among themselves and avoid division and said,” For this reason, these efforts have been fruitful in India.”
 
Maulana Mohammad Asghar Mesbahi also praised the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for endeavors to boost solidarity among scholars from different Islamic denominations and the long-term effects they would leave on the entire world of Islam.
 
The prayer leader of Ranchi in India expressed his views in an address to the eighth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference.
 
 
The 37th International Islamic Unity Conference has been scheduled to convene Shia and Sunni elites and religious figures on 28th September to 3rd October 2023. As organized by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, this year the meeting focuses on the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is annually held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
