The prayer leader of Baghdad stressed importance of brotherhood in Islam saying Muslims should be set as role models in sincerity and fraternity.

Hatem Ali Al-Jubouri, prominent cleric and orator of Iraqi capital, in his speech at the eighth webinar at 37th International Islamic Unity Conference called on Muslims to settled disagreements in a bid to thwart hostile plots against Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The main objective of anti-Islam forces, both within the Muslim world and in other countries, is to divide the Ummah.”
 
He reiterated brotherhood as an essential issue in Islam and said,” Almighty God wants us to maintain our brotherhood and become role model for humanity.”
 
Top Iraqi cleric said hailed the Muslim rulers who settle disputes with other countries and said,” Today world countries have set their eyes on Islamic states.”
 
Hatem Ali Al-Jubouri noted,” Without a doubt, brotherhood and solidarity provide for the interests of Islam and Muslims.”
 
Prayer leader of Baghdad made the comments in an address to elites and scholars attending the eighth webinar of the Islamic Unity Conference 2023.
 
The 37th International Islamic Unity Conference has been scheduled to convene Shia and Sunni elites and religious figures on 28th September to 3rd October 2023. As organized by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, this year the meeting focuses on the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values.” The event is annually held concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
