Muslim professor calls for establishment of new Islamic history based on unity

A Muslim university professor from France has called for hiring the great capacity of the younger generation in the world of Islam to establish a new Islamic history based on fraternity and unity.

Professor Imad Hamrouni, speaking at the webinar on the first day of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference said the capacity of young girls and boys and also Muslim women should be employed in order to establish a new Islamic history based on brotherhood, unity, solidarity and unity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He stressed importance of cooperation among Muslims within a society and also among Islamic states and governments particularly amid the developments caused by globalization and historical developments.
 
He noted that the cooperation among Muslim countries and Muslim Ummah to be in three stages: Interactions, Transitions and Transformations.
 
The Muslim professor noted that in order to have proper cooperation Muslims must first have good interactions.
 
He condemned the western countries for bringing all disunion among Muslims and said,” It is necessary to expand realistic cooperation among all Muslim’s actors, politicians, intellectuals, athletes etc.”
 
Imad Hamrouni touched upon the issue of Palestine as a key problem in the world of Islam and said,” We Muslims firstly should think how we can institutionalize the brotherhood among ourselves” and added,” In this regard it is suggested to establish organizations based on brotherhood for creating unity and brotherly relations among Muslims in all different fields.”
 
He called on the Islamic governments to establish a union, just like European Union, that facilitates travel and trade among its member states.
 
French university professor expressed his views in an address to the elites attending the fourth webinar of the 37th Islamic Unity Conference held on September 28th.
 
 
The 37th Islamic Unity Conference is underway in the capital Tehran as a number of Shia and Sunni scholars attend the webinars and the meeting to be held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought. This year the elites and religious figures attending the event discuss the theme “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values”.  The conference is held on 28th September to 3rd concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week which marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
