"Normalization with Israel not last long", Qalibaf

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, speaker of Iran's Parliament has slammed the normalization agreement between some Arab states and the Israeli regime stressing that the relation will not last long.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference which is held virtually due to the new coronavirus outbreak, Iran's speaker of Parliament said that the shame of normalization with Israel will go down in history under their names, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf highlighted the Noble Quds as a key commonality of the Islamic nation stressing that the free-spirited and Muslim people of the world will never forget the shame of normalization by some Arab states with Israeli regime.
 
He called Islamic unity and fraternity as fundamental and core principles of Islam and slammed Shia and Sunni Muslims who "blow into the horn of schism without regard for the discretion and interests of Islam and Muslims" and said," If the divisive hands in the World of Islam are cut short, more than 1.5 billion Muslims will not only be at odds with one another, but will rather be supportive of each
other."  
 
Iranian official also referred to the recent desecration of Islamic sanctities in France and said," Any unkindness and boldness towards the Noble Prophet of Islam and the heavenly scripture of the Holy Quran is an insult to all the prophets and divine scriptures" and added," Any person or movement that commits this insolence proves that they have not been bestowed even a smattering understanding of religion, morality, spirituality and humanity."
 
 
He referred to the new coronavirus crisis beyond a health issue and a crisis which demands collaboration and solidarity to effectively combat it.
 I trust that we can turn the coronavirus threat into an opportunity for co-operation and unity between and among Muslim societies.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf made the comments in the opening ceremony of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference which was held online due to the new coronavirus circumstances.
 
34th Islamic Unity Conference is scheduled and underway for October 29- November 3, 2020. Over 350 speeches are to be made by Muslim intellectuals from across the globe during the 6-day online event concurrent with the Islamic Unity Week.
