Top Iranian jurisprudent attended Iran presidential election and addressed the to-be losers of 11th presidential election saying everybody should protect the system and be loyal to the country.

Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli, senior Shia cleric casted his vote in the polling station at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh in Qom and hailed Iranian nation for their great turnout in 11th presidential election, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Prominent jurisprudent addressed the losers of the election and called them to protect the system in light of loyalty to their religion.

He also noted the winner of this election has to serve the Iranian nation and said, “He who accepts this great responsibility has to accept the burden of people and serve them.”

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stressed, “We obey the messages of Qur’an and Ahlul Bayt (AS) because they convey the messages of religion and diplomacy for us.”

Iran’s 11th presidential election was held in Iran as well as several foreign countries across the globe on June 14th, 2013, to choose the head of country’s executive power for the next four years.
