Hundreds of people attended the communal Qur'an recitation at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam, in Najaf. As a tradition during the fasting month of Ramadan, people from all walks of life participate in Qur'an recitation meetings at mosques, shrines or other public places.
