Remnant of war and famine in Yemen1 (photo)

Saudi-led coalition broke out a deadly war against Yemen back in 2015, a conflict which has turned into a full-blown war over three years. International bodies have voiced anger over clear instances of violation of human rights and a worsening humanitarian situation which mainly threatens the lives of children in the war-torn country.

Yemeni civilians are carrying the major burden of the war with appalling reports on death and injuries among thousands of the people. The humanitarian situation is worsening as Saudi blockade of the country multiplies the devastation of the civilians, a major part of them children.

An estimated number of 22.2 million Yemeni civilians are in urgent need of humanitarian aids to see the next day. Saudi-imposed blockade of Yemen has worsened since November missile attack by Houthi fighters.
