PGCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi denounces Israeli military’s airstrikes on Tuesday night, calling them 'flagrant violation of international agreements and laws that threaten regional security and stability'
“Our peacekeeping colleagues on the Golan Heights, UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), continue to implement its mandate of observing and reporting from its positions throughout the area of separation,” spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, said during a news conference.
The Syrian Cabinet saluted the Golan’s citizens for their adherence to their identity and their homeland Syria, and for their steadfastness in the face of the occupation’s hostile practices.
The strike, which was staged by Golan citizens on the 14th of February 1982 and lasted for six months, came to declare rejection of the Israeli occupation authorities’ decision issued on December 14, 1981 to annex the occupied Syrian Golan and impose Israeli laws on its people.
Syrian people have held rally to denounce a decision by Israeli regime to double the settler population in the Golan Heights stressing they would resist to foil the Israeli plan as the local Palestinians are displaced.
