The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met talked with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, in Jeddah on Friday.

 Before this meeting yesterday (Thursday) the Minister of Foreign Affairs held a consultation with his Saudi counterpart and participated in a joint press conference.
 
The meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince is taking place while two months ago, Faisal bin Farhan, the Foreign Minister of this country, during a trip to Tehran, met with the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President and announced the official invitation of King Salman for the visit of Ayatollah Raisi to Saudi Arabia.
 
Amir- Abdollahian traveled to Riyadh yesterday and after meeting with his counterpart and visiting our country's embassy, arrived in Jeddah on Friday morning.
