Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has congratulated the Palestinian nation and the Muslim world on the advent of the fasting month of Ramadan.

The Movement, in a statement on Wednesday, called for unity, compassion, and mobilization of potentials in support of Palestine, Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
 
Hamas urged the Arab and Islamic countries’ leaders and the world people to support the Palestinian people until final liberation.
 
It also called on the Palestinians in the occupied homeland to defend the Aqsa Mosque especially during Ramadan against the Israeli occupation’s schemes and settlers’ crimes.
 
Hamas hoped that next Ramadan would witness victory and liberation for the Palestinian people.
