Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, wrote on his Twitter page: "While expressing our condolences and sympathy to the government and nation of our friend and brother Turkey, we strongly condemn the terrorist act and the targeting of innocent people in Istanbul."

 Also, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to the explosion incident on Esteghlal Street in Istanbul, Turkey, said: We strongly condemn any terrorist act that targets the security of the country and the Turkish nation.
 
He emphasized: We are with the government and the nation of the Republic of Turkey.
