Israeli regime announces travel ban for al-Aqsa Mosque director

Israeli authorities have issued new order banning Palestinian cleric and grand mufti of al-Aqsa Mosque from traveling to other countries.


Israeli intelligence has announced an order from Ayelet Shaked, minister of interior, which bans Sheikh Akrama Sabri, grand mufti of Jerusalem al-Quds from traveling abroad for four months, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Bureau of the director of al-Aqsa Mosque said," Israeli authorities have justified the move claiming that Sheikh Akrama Sabri was counted an alleged threat to security of Tel Aviv."
 
Family of Sheikh Akrama Sabri has noted that Israeli regime have issued travel ban for the cleric three times before and the new order is the fourth of its type.
 
Sheikh Akrama Sabri also posted on his Twitter account stressing that the oppressive decision would not bring any change to his stance vowing," I will not withdraw from my duties in regards to the Palestinian and Islamic nation and the al-Aqsa Mosque."
