People in Bahrain have taken to the streets on Saturday to mark the second martyrdom anniversary of Iran's IRGC commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi commander of Hashd al Sha'abi Abu Mahdi Muhandis.

Bahraini people held demonstration on the eve of the second martyrdom anniversary of two anti-terror commanders Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandis, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Demonstrators held placards to express appreciation for the sacrifice made by the two Iranian and Iraqi commanders reading," Message from resisting Bahraini nation to great commander of Islam, General Qassem Soleimani: We thank you."
 
Participants in this demonstration also held pictures of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandis besides the image of prominent Shia leader Sheikh Isa Qassem reading,"We are Qassem".
 
People in other Islamic countries have also begun the ceremonies to mark the second martyrdom anniversary of the two commanders.
 
In an attack launched by US Army, the convoy of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandis was targeted leading to martyrdom of both counter-terror commanders and their companions in the early hours of January 3, 2020.
