Daesh claims responsibility for terrorist attack on Kabul military hospital

Daesh terrorist group in Afghanistan has claimed responsibility for the attack on military hospital in the capital Kabul on Tuesday which has left more than 25 people dead and several more wounded.


In a statement released on its telegram channel on Tuesday, Daesh confirmed that five members belonging to the terrorist outfit had carried out the attacks.
 
It further said that one of the attackers detonated an explosive belt at the entrance of the hospital before other members raided the center to open fire at the people and personnel.
 
At least 25 people have lost their lives according to the latest reports and 50 others wounded.
 
Multiple bomb blasts had targeted Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, the biggest military hospital in Afghanistan.
 
Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman said that the terrorists intended to target the civilians, doctors and patients in the hospital claiming that four Daesh terrorists were killed and fifth one was captured as Taliban fighters repulsed the attack in 15 minutes.
 
The United Nation’s mission in Afghanistan has denounced the attack on military hospital in Kabul stressing that these attacks on medical personnel and the civilians seeking treatment are in contravention of human rights and international humanitarian laws.
