General Assembly of Muslim women has held meeting warning of the situation of women in war-torn countries across the world of Islam.

General Association of Muslim Women Board and General Assembly held meeting was held on the third day of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference to call for active role of Islamic countries in the annual event, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Role of Palestinian women in Intifadha, issues of Iraqi women and the report of the past year activities were among the topics discussed in this meeting.
 
Chaired by Touba Kermani the meeting was held on the last leg of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran's Parsian Azadi Hotel.
 
Islamic Unity Conference 2019 has been held on 14-16 November 2019 under the title of "Ummah Unity in Defense of al-Aqsa Mosque."
