On the second day of the Islamic Unity Conference an especial gathering was held on Nev. 15 under the title of "Review of the Challenges and Crisis of the Islamic World" currently underway in Tehran, attended by local and foreign scholars.

According to Taghrib News Agency, Dr. Abbas Khameyar, speaking at the  meeting said today the world of Islam is subject to various internal and external challenges and crisis created by the world arrogance and called world Muslim community, through exchanging views and holding this kind of meetings, to find solutions for their problems.

 Talking about the various challenges faced by the Islamic World he said poverty, legitimacy, national identity, human rights, religious minorities are among problems and challenges that Muslim community is suffering from.

Another speaker, Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, speaking at the same meeting said the most acute issue that the Islamic World is encountered today is the Palestinian issue in addition to ongoing disturbing events in Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan , Nigeria and Bahrain adding the t world arrogance by the help of Zionist regime and some other countries have imposed widespread sanctions against Islamic Republic of Iran.
