Top Iraqi cleric attending the 33rd Islamic Unity Conference in Tehran slammed the US and Israeli regime for struggles to topple the popular Iraqi government hailing the popular effort to maintain their unity and foil the plot.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Sadreddin Qabbanchi, prayer leader of Najaf, in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference referred to the new situation in the world of Islam stressing Isalmic Unity as the most important necessity status que, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He hailed the recent changes in the Muslim world and called Islamic solidarity as the reason for failure of the tyrants and terrorist groups naming Daesh.
 
Prayer leader of Najaf said," Beating the Takfiri groups, Muslims showed that extremism is rejected in Isalm."
 
According to the prominent Iraqi cleric, several non-Muslim countries have set the solidarity of Muslims as a role model to follow.
 
He hailed the Iraqi nation for ending the sectarian wars in the Arab country and foiling the efforts to disintegrate the country.
 
Seyyed Sadreddin Qabbanchi denounced the Tel Aviv regime and Washington for pursuing the efforts to take advantage of the recent protests in Iraq warning that the legal demands of the people should not benefit the enemies.
 
Top Iraqi scholar made the remarks at the opening ceremony of the 33^rd Islamic Unity Conference which is held in Tehran on November 14-16, 2019.
 
The three-day event is held by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought under the title of "Ummah Unity in Defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque."
