Abrahamic religions boosting ties despite hostile plots

Former ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Malaysia slammed the intensifying Islamophobia across the globe and hailed the boosting ties among followers of the Abrahamic religions.


Tarsun Bay Baqerolov, professor of university from Kyrgyzstan in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the attacks against the world of Islam and called for stronger ties among Muslims in the face of hostile plots.
 
He said,” As we stand witness to different attacks against the world of Islam, we should leave the cultural and historical disagreements aside and return to original principles of Islam in order to build unity amongst us.”
 
Kyrgyz scholar named proximity as a strategy to confront threats against Islam at the time of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
 
Tarsun Bay Baqerolov made the comments on the sideline of the second Regional Islamic Unity Conference held in Iran’s northern province of Golestan.
 
He said,” Although enemies are struggling to divide us, we Muslims, Christians and Jews get closer together.”
 
Tarsun Bay Baqerolov reiterated fraternal relations among different Islamic denominations and said,” We believe in the same Qibla (praying direction) and same holy book.”
 
He called on the Muslim rulers to follow diplomatic solutions as prelude to creating proximity among people.
