International conference on diplomacy of unity closed in Tehran approving articles on formation of global unions as pro-proximity organizations of elites.

Tehran’s one-day conference on diplomacy of unity has ended its work issuing the final resolution made by participants from across the globe including religious elites, social activists, youths and sports champions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The meeting in its final resolution approved formation of global proximity unions in different political, social, scientific and cultural arenas.
The paragraphs in this resolution also includes agreement on turning the discourse of Islamic unity to a social behavior with participants announcing their preparation to launch proximity societies in their home countries.
Intellectuals in this meeting also agreed on necessity of identifying Muslim world elites in the form of unions and strengthening their activities based on common values in order to realize modern Islamic civilization.
Based on the guidelines by Ayatollah Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and approved by the participants a special committee is going to be chosen in order to focus on launching a union of Islamic countries with common interests.
The one day conference on diplomacy of unity was held concurrent with 27th
foundation anniversary of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in Tehran.
Religious figures and elites from different countries including Turkey, Pakistan, Tunisia, Netherlands and other Muslim states were among the participants.
