'Iran’s policy is countering religious discrimination'

“The ways used by arrogance in fighting with World of Islam has been changed,” said Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.



 
In an interview aired by Al-Mayadin TV Channel and centered around the recent gathering of religious Ulima (scholars) in Lebanon capital Beirut, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki beckoned to the elevated issue of Palestine among Muslim nations noting, “in despite of attempts placed by enemies of Islam, ‘Palestine’ will remain the main priority in Islamic Ummah,” reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).  
 

The grand Ayatollah pointed to ever conspiracies hatched by arrogance against Islam stressing, “The ways arrogance uses presently for fighting World of Islam have been changed and aim at increasing religious disputations.” In his term, “In the past, enemies were daunted by Muslims’ all out solidarity, thereupon in the here and now they seek
to trigger tribal and religious conflicts, to the detriment of World of Islam.”

“From the other side”, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought underlined, “western countries do not enjoy that much commonalities, nonetheless, they unified in thier ways and have unions such as EU.”
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, the senior cleric dismissed claims accuse Iran of intervening other countries’ affairs, wondering “how some Arab states proposed as such claims while they have launched military interventions in other countries.”
 
“The stance and policy Islamic Republic of Iran has taken and followed is siding with oppressed nations which are after regaining their rights,” pointed out Ayatollah Mohsen Araki stressing Iran counters religious discriminations, backing downtrodden people like Yemenis to demand peacefully their
very fundamental rights back.
 
Ayatollah Araki went on to note the programs and activities advanced by the World forum are in the same line with the foresaid stance Islamic Republic of Iran has taken, adding, Iran top unity body aims at promoting conversion and rapprochement among followers of all Islamic denominations and sects, announcing its readiness to try its utmost in step with Al-Azhar university so as to safeguard unity among Muslims.
 
Ayatollah Araki held establishment of Islamic Religions University as the main measures carried out by the world forum in the area of spreading rapprochement culture adding, “Here students from different sects have been admitted and religious takes and principles are taught in the milieu of brotherhood and cooperation.”
 
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought wrapped up his remarks by welcoming any step taken by Saudi Arabia in the unity related realm or any proposal put forth by the country and its scholars for internalizing rapprochement among Islamic denominations.
