Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani referred to Ayatollah Khamenei’s clear warning to the House of Saud over the Mina tragedy and stressed that the culture of jihad and martyrdom in Iran is alive and that Iran has thousands of Qasem Soleymani’s.

In a meeting with a group of eulogizers, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani stated that everyone needs to be aware of the era in which they live and pointed to the contrast between truth and falsehood in the current era saying, “The battleground of the infidels against the believers has been prepared and there has never been such a time where the infidels have been so heavily armed against the [front of] truth as in the current era.”
According to Rasa, the revered scholar added that the events and incidents that are happening in the present day should be traced so the people of the time can recognise them. These events should be evaluated and analyzed with insight and wisdom. “We must be fully prepared in order to deal with falsehood and disbelief,” he said.
His Eminence referred to the late Imam Khomeini’s “unique” way of thinking and understanding of his era stressing, “He destroyed the 2500-year-old imperial [Pahlavi] monarchy and founded a strong Islamic system.”
Referring to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s recent warning to Saudi Arabia over the tragic stampede in Mina, Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said, “This revolution enjoys great power which we have all witnessed in recent days and with one sentence, the leaders of Saudi Arabia were forced to retreat and surrender to Iran.”
Ayatollah Khamenei threatened Saudi Arabia with “tough and harsh” retaliation after saying that the bodies of Hajj stampede victims are not being repatriated swiftly.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani underlined, “The House of Saud is a tribal state and is a lackey of the United States, the arrogant powers and the Zionists. ISIL, Boko Haram and other Takfiri groups were fed and created with Saudi petrodollars.”
In regard to the power of Islamic Iran, the renowned source of emulation said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has thousands of Qasem Soleymani’s [Commander of Iran’s renowned Qods Force] and the culture and spirit of jihad is always alive among the country’s Muslims. “In their wills, a majority of this country’s martyrs stressed upon their support of the doctrine of Wilayat al-Faqih [Guardian of the Jurisprudence].”
Referring to the approaching solemn month of Muharram, he said that Muharram is the best opportunity to promote Islamic culture. “Ashura is the school of Hayhat Minna Dhilla [“disgrace is far away from us”]. Eulogists should make use of the tragedy in Mina in their Ashura poetry this year to keep the memory of Ashura alive among the people.”
